1. Who is responsible for your data
Operation Futures, the business trading as Operation Futures, decides how and why your personal data is used. Contact us any time at support.
2. What we collect
Your survey answers and result. The answers you give, the score we calculate, and the group we place you in.
Your email address, if you give it to us when you join or when you contact support. The survey does not ask for it.
Membership details, if you join: your name and membership status from our payment provider, and your Discord username once you connect it. We never see your card details at all.
Usage data. Pages viewed, which survey question people stop at, and general device and browser information.
Anything you post inside the community.
3. Your survey answers never leave your browser
While you are taking the survey, your answers are stored only in your own browser, so a refresh does not lose your progress. We never receive them. Your result is worked out on your own device, and closing the tab clears the lot.
4. Why we use it
To place you in the right room if you join; to run and support your membership; to email you updates you can unsubscribe from at any time; to understand where people drop out of the site so we can improve it; and to keep the community safe and enforce our terms.
Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is: performing our contract with you (running your membership), your consent (marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time), and our legitimate interests (improving the site, preventing abuse).
5. Who we share it with
Only with the services needed to run this, each acting on our instructions: our payment and membership provider (Whop), our community platform (Discord), our email provider. We may also share data if the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Those providers have their own privacy policies covering what they do with data you give them directly.
6. Marketing email
If you give us your email we may send you occasional updates about Operation Futures. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the marketing email without affecting your membership.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use minimal storage in your browser to hold your survey progress and to measure how the site is used. We do not run advertising trackers.
8. How long we keep it
Survey results and email addresses are kept while you are subscribed to our emails and for up to 24 months after your last activity. Membership and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to someone else. You can also withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Email support and we will respond within the time the law allows. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights, and you may complain to your data protection regulator.
10. Children
This service is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no service can be completely secure. Payment details are handled by our payment provider, not by us.
12. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer.
13. Changes
If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and, for members, tell you by email.
